Although I do what I can with the time given as a mom, and hobby breeder, I also have to
allow time for scientific journal publications and research. Sometimes I have to pull back from showing and the Alaskan Klee Kai community to attend to other things. However, we never stop loving and playing with our dogs every day, and eventually we start getting involved again.

For the past 7 years I have done NO animal research at any employer.

I work with human, bacterial, and viral DNA & RNA.
My past research was in the study of human protein structure for drug discovery applications and disease research. I have also done a significant amount of work on cancer related genes, AD, SIDS, Asthma, breast cancer, cloning, and robotics for biochemistry & proteomics. Many of my past projects were funded by JCSG and GNF.
As of August 2007 I changed jobs and became a Senior Research Associate. I now work in a private group with 13 other scientist’s in the field of biowarfare defense.
We are presently funded by Darpa, SAIC, Northrop Grumman, and Homeland Security. I do hope for our company to go Public someday so we all put in long hours.

One thing I have learned in life, is the more that I learn the more that I learn I do not know.
As a word of wisdom, worry about those that “know everything” ;)
